Central Trinidad – a Mini Island Tour

The tour takes you to Central Trinidad where you visit the main city Chaguanas and its fresh produce market & bazaar street. Taste the local fruits! You will continue to a small authentic pottery, the 85ft tall statue of Lord Hanuman & adjoining Ashram, the Temple in the Sea & Cremation Site and an East Indian Museum (Museum Wed-Sun). Zip Lining Experience & Fort George Panoramic View

The tour takes you along the scenic North West coast to Chaguaramas. There are 7 lines and 5 canopy walks/net bridges overlooking the majestic Caribbean Sea and rainforest. The zip line is internationally certified (double harness). The highest cable is approx. 100 feet up and the longest cable about 500 feet. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to glide through the course. There is a beautiful beach at the starting point (optional).

It concludes with a visit to famous Fort George with its stunning panoramic views, as far as Venezuela!

A short drive along the North West coast brings you to a modern marina, where you board the fine Bertram Yacht. The first stop is the small island of Gaspar Grande. You’ll embark on a short easy hike to the cave entrance. The easy descend on broad well-lit steps leads you to an amazing 80ft underground cave with a deep pond (“Blue Grotto”). View stalagmites and other unusual rock formations. Upon return to the boat you will continue the cruise, relaxing, swimming in secluded bays, listening to local music (optional), bathroom facilities and air-conditioned area available.
